Milestones of an eventful history

1972 England

The birth of a brand.

Peter Osborne – an idea with style:
TROIKA was born from the vision of creating stylish gifts for classy men. The first collections included exquisite leather and steel accessories – from cufflinks to gear knobs for British roadsters made of fine sterling silver.

1980 England

A path full of milestones

Since its early days, the TROIKA brand has stood for sophisticated design. As early as the 1980s, its first products were honored with international design awards—the beginning of more than 60 prestigious awards, including the Red Dot, the German Design Award, and the Good Design Award.

1989 Germany

New start in the Westerwald.

Liudger Böll takes over TROIKA from his
Friend Peter Osborne. The German success story began with five employees, a garage as a warehouse, and Grandma's lunch table as a canteen.

1990

Business with style.

Functional and elegant desk accessories are conquering the gift market. TROIKA captures the zeitgeist and establishes itself as a brand for high-quality
Business gifts.

1995

TROIKA gains partners in Europe. Design "Made in Germany" becomes visible worldwide.

2000

Growth with prospects.

The company is growing strongly and is moving to the new
Company headquarters in Müschenbach – with a sweeping view over the hills. A home for a steadily
growing team.

2003

Mobility becomes the program.

Multitools, key rings and clever gadgets
expand the range. TROIKA design becomes mobile: practical, durable, stylish – made for
on the way.

2010

Collaborations & Awards.

Collaboration with brands such as Volkswagen,
Lufthansa and the Andy Warhol Foundation. Numerous international design awards confirm
the path taken.

Heute

Globally grown, regionally rooted.

Even though TROIKA now operates in over 70 countries, our headquarters in Müschenbach remains the heart of our work. This is where ideas are born, prototypes are developed, and collections are planned – always with attention to detail and a focus on the needs of a mobile, design-savvy clientele. Responsibility and a spirit of discovery shape our actions: Sustainability, a passion for innovation, and digital proximity connect our roots to the world.

Design culture as a brand core

To this day, TROIKA remains a think tank where creativity, functionality, and quality go hand in hand. From the very beginning, we have maintained close collaborations worldwide and are committed to high standards of design and craftsmanship. Our design culture is not just a way of working, but an essential part of our identity.
