1. Description of the service

The website troika.de serves as an online marketplace for consumer goods, particularly gifts and accessories. Users can learn about products, select them, add them to their shopping cart, and purchase them online. Service and contact information are also provided.

 

2. Applicable requirements

The accessibility requirements arise from the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular from Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3 Paragraph 1 BFSG with reference to the Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV).

 

3. Meeting accessibility requirements

This website does not fully meet the essential requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 with conformance level AA.

 

Accessible content:

Perceivability

- The texts are easy to read (regarding font, size, shape, letter, line, and paragraph spacing, color contrasts)

- Text can be enlarged without losing content or damaging the layout.

Usability

- Links and buttons are sufficiently large and easily accessible.

Comprehensibility

- Clear and concise sentences and paragraphs are used; fill-in aids are provided during the ordering process.

- Input corrections are possible.

- No content that triggers photosensitive reactions is used.

 

Non-accessible content:

Limitations exist regarding full keyboard accessibility, the use of screen readers, the semantically correct structuring of content, the provision of meaningful alternative text for images, as well as with forms, dynamic content, and individual contrast values. Furthermore, the cookie consent banner and some interactive elements are currently not fully accessible.

 

The listed content is not accessible for the following reasons.

The aforementioned limitations arise primarily from the technical characteristics of the shop system used, the theme employed, and integrated third-party components. A phased technical optimization to further improve accessibility is planned.

 

We are constantly working to rectify these shortcomings.

The basis for its creation was a self-assessment using a common testing tool (internal technical pre-assessment based on the  WCAG 2.1 AA).
